The Peakharmonic Youth Orchestra is committed to serving the Colorado Springs community and surrounding areas by providing unique artistic opportunities that are economically accessible to dedicated student musicians, while inspiring them to excellence, leadership and teamwork through the study and performance of great instrumental music of the past and present.
Peakharmonic Youth Orchestran and the Don Wheeler Memorial Foundation invite all French Horn players between 12 and 23 to compete in the 2012 French Horn Concerto Competition. The winner of the competition will receive a one-year tuition scholarship in Peakharmonic Youth Orchestra and the opportunity to play a Philip Farkas double French Horn for the season!

Peakharmonic has 5 ensembles - Prelude strings, Symphonic orchestra, Wind Ensemble, a Sax Ensemble and Concert Band. All musicians who are interested are welcome to visit a rehearsal prior to audition to meet our conductors.
