Peakharmonic Youth Orchestran and the Don Wheeler Memorial Foundation invite all French Horn players between 12 and 24 to compete in the 2011 French Horn Concerto Competition. The winner of the competition will receive a one-year tuition scholarship in Peakharmonic Youth Orchestra and the opportunity to play a Philip Farkas double French Horn for the season!

Talented French Horn students are invited each year to compete for a full tuition scholarship and the opportunity to play on a Philip Farkas double French Horn for one season with PYO. This is made possible by a generous grant in memory of Don Wheeler, himself a horn player and highly regarded musician in the Colorado Springs community. The competition will be held this year on Tuesday, August 23 at 6:15pm.
